Here at Song Dog, we strive to make your fishing trip the best possible. Once you have selected the trip you want to take just schedule with us and we will take care of the rest.
Your options are as follows:
1. We meet you at your designated starting point and time. You already have your own kayaks and we shuttle one or more of your vehicles to the exit point on the river at the end of your float. Your vehicle will be parked locked in whatever parking is available at that river exit. We can discuss the methods of locking your vehicle when you schedule your trip.
We can put you in at several points along the White River depending on how long you want to float. See the various access points below:
Wildcat Shoals
Putting in at Wildcat Shoals will give you an approximate 6 mile float down to Cotter.
Cotter
Putting in at Cotter will give you an approximate 6.5 mile float down to Rim Shoals.
Rim Shoals
Putting in at Rim Shoals will give you an approximate 4-5 mile float down to Ranchette.
Ranchette
Ranchette is not a get in point but a get out point only as it is the last access where I can do a pick up.
Bull Shoals Dam
Putting in at the Bull Shoals State Park ramp will give you an approx. 10-11 mile float to Wildcat Shoals.
All “get in” points are listed in approximate miles.
The actual time of your float can vary depending on the water flow at the time of your trip. We can float you with up to 4 generators running at the dam but beyond that we feel the river will be running too fast to be safe and allow for good fishing.
Our prices for the White River are as follows:
Shuttles: $45/vehicle.
